HOSPITALITY
Moxy Hotel
The Truman Hotel in East Village will introduce Calgary’s first Moxy Hotel, bringing Marriott’s energetic, design-forward lifestyle hospitality brand to the heart of the city. Located at the corner of Confluence Way SE and 6 Street SE, the six-storey hotel is designed by NORR Architects as a highly efficient, contemporary urban hospitality asset that complements the continued growth of East Village as a mixed-use destination.
Anchored by an active and social ground floor, the hotel will feature a signature Moxy lobby experience with check-in integrated into a lively bar and lounge environment, creating a central gathering space for guests and locals alike. Additional amenities include a restaurant and patio, flexible meeting area, and a fitness facility designed to support both leisure and business travellers.
Positioned within one of Calgary’s fastest-growing inner-city districts, the project benefits from immediate proximity to the Bow River pathway system, East Village retail and cultural amenities, and convenient access to downtown. The development is intended to strengthen the area’s hospitality offering while contributing to the continued maturation of East Village as a mixed-use destination for residents, visitors, and business travellers.
